Anything marked Planned is not available yet, nothing is a promise of a date, and we will tell early access members well in advance before any price applies to them. Questions
What families ask about cost
Do I need a card to start?
No. Early access never asks for payment details, and there is no trial that quietly expires. If we introduce a price later, it will never be charged to a card you gave us for something else.
Do the relatives I invite have to pay?
No. Everyone you invite into your circle is covered by the circle itself. There is no per-member charge, whether you invite one sibling or twelve.
What actually happens when early access ends?
We publish the price on this page, we email every member of every circle in plain language, and we give you notice before any change could apply to you. You can export everything and leave at any point, and we will confirm when your data is deleted.
How is the carer who visits paid?
KoalaCare does not employ carers and does not handle payment for care. A paid carer is invited into the circle by the family, in the same way a sibling is; whether they are paid, and by whom, is between you and them.
Does KoalaCare replace a care package or insurance?
No. KoalaCare does not fund care and does not provide medical advice. It coordinates the people and the information around care you already have.
What if my parent does not use apps?
They never have to. The person being cared for needs no account, no login and no smartphone. A printed daily sheet or the weekly email digest covers what they need to see.
Can our care provider or clinic join?
Yes. A paid carer, a nurse or a clinic's front desk can be added with a limited role that shows only what is relevant to them, such as the day's medications and appointments. Access ends the moment the family removes them.
Is there a cheaper plan for one person on their own?
Today the answer is simpler than that: one care circle is free, whether you are coordinating for a parent, a partner, or yourself with help from a neighbour.
