How it works

You do not need to move everything at once. Most families start with the medication list, because that is the part that hurts when it is wrong.

Name it and add the person you are caring for. You are the only person who needs an account to begin.

We will never sell it
Your family's information is not a product. It is never sold, rented or traded, and it is never used to build advertising profiles.
We will never track without asking
This website sets one necessary cookie and loads no third-party scripts. We only count what gets read after you say yes.
We will never lock you in
You can export your whole circle as a readable file whenever you want, and ask us to delete it permanently.
We will never guess about medicine
KoalaCare records what your circle tells it. It is not a medical device and never offers advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Security and privacy
Your family's information stays in your family.
Role-based access, encryption in transit and at rest, and a straight answer about everything we hold. No fine print you need a lawyer for.

Role-based visibility
Every member has a role, and the role decides what they can read and change. The GP does not need your family's chat history.

Encrypted in transit and at rest
All traffic runs over HTTPS and stored data is encrypted. Access to production systems is limited and logged.

Export and delete on request
Take your whole circle out as a readable file, and ask for it to be deleted permanently. You are not locked in.

Never used for advertising
Health information is never sold or shared with advertisers. This website loads no third-party scripts.
The work of caring does not go away. What goes away is the part where one person has to hold all of it, alone, in their head.
Questions
The things families ask first
Is KoalaCare free?
Yes, while we are in early access. One care circle costs nothing, there is no card to enter, and you can invite as many family members as you need. We will tell you well before anything about that changes.
Who can see our family's information?
Only the people you invite, and only what their role allows. Every member has a role, and a role decides which parts of the circle they can read and change. You can remove someone at any time, and their access ends immediately.
What if my parent does not use apps?
They never have to. The person you are caring for does not need an account, a login or a smartphone. A printed daily sheet or the weekly email digest covers everything they need to see.
Can our care provider join?
Yes. A paid carer, a nurse or a clinic's front desk can be added with a limited role that shows only what is relevant to them, such as the day's medications and appointments.
Where is our information stored, and can we delete it?
It is stored on encrypted infrastructure, encrypted in transit and at rest. You can export your whole circle as a readable file at any time, and you can ask us to delete it permanently.
What happens when care ends?
You can export everything and close the circle. Nothing is kept beyond what we are legally required to retain, and we will confirm once deletion is complete.
